IBM example code histcol.dxl running too many times

I am trying to use the code given by IBM in example folder "histcol.dxl", But the problem is this code runs too many times. Do anybody has an idea why is it doin so? I am attaching that code here.

What do you mean with "runs too many times"?

  1. You haved used it 184 times and then something is damaged?
  2. If the code has terminated, then the script starts again?

Does the code destroy something?

I assume (from this thread and the other one) that you execute the script as LDXL or ADXL. This script is meant to be executed from the Edit-DXL dialog box (check the menu bar for a entry called "Edit DXL...", I don't have access to a DOORS client at the moment, so I can't tell you exactly where in the menu bar to find it).

By assigning it to a LDXL column you execute the script once per object in your module (check the other thread for a more in depth explaination)

No, it actually runs too many times when I run it on a column as Layout DXl. No it doesn't hurt except I have to close too many windows before another one.
